Training process

Stage 1: Fundamentals (3 months)

Commitment: ~15-20 hours/week

  1. Learn & Practice: Weekly self-paced modules, hands-on tasks, and quick tests.
  2. Expert Feedback: Weekly assignment reviews from your dedicated mentor.
  3. Live Q&As: Evening community meetups to unblock issues (recordings provided).
  4. Gatekeeper: Pass 2 short assessments + a technical interview to unlock Stage 2.


Stage 2: Specialization (4 months)

Commitment: ~20-30 hours/week

  1. Deep Dive: Advanced materials with code reviews every 48 hours.
  2. Daily Support: Daily group syncs with peers and mentors.
  3. The Reward: Graduate and get fast-tracked for open roles at EPAM.

Upon successful completion of both fundamentals and specialization stages, we will consider you for open positions based on your skills and available opportunities at EPAM.


What is required for training:

General requirements:

  1. The program is available to citizens and permanent residents of Hungary.
  2. Individuals aged 18 years and older

Skills requirements:

  1. English level: B2 or higher
  2. Basic knowledge of Relational Database Management System (DBMS) theory
  3. Understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL)
  4. Familiarity with Python basics

Nice to have:

  1. Degree from a technical university or other educational institution with a technical specialization
  2. Experience in banking and technical spheres
How to get started?
  1. Registration: Fill out the form and attach your CV. Registration deadline 31th of August.
  2. English Test (within 5 days): Complete the quick B2 assessment in your profile.
  3. Tech Assessment (within 5 days): Score 60%+ on the basic tech quiz (preparation materials will be shared with you after registration is completed).
  4. AI Chat: Shortlisted? You'll get an invite to have a quick chat with our AI assistant.
  5. Preparation Course: Start your recommended, self-paced warm-up course.
  6. Final Exam (September 16): Pass the online final technical assessment.
  7. Get Invited! Look out for your official acceptance email 1-2 weeks later.

What will you learn?
Our program will cover both fundamental and advanced skills in Data Analytics Engineering:
Stage 1: Fundamentals (3 months with ~15 hours/week)
Stage 2: Specialization (4 months with ~30 hours/week)
Good to know before you apply:
  1. At the time of application, applicant has to be live and be eligible to work (full-time position) in Hungary.
  2. The program start date may change, so the selection period may be adjusted accordingly. Please regularly check for updates on this page and via email.
  3. Active participants of ЕРАМ Educational programs and employees of EPAM Systems are not allowed to register for the training. Feel free to contact your Training Coordinator or Resource Manager regarding other opportunities.
  4. Considering the limited number of program slots, the applications order and selection results will be decisive factors for being enrolled.
  5. After completing this program, high-performing candidates may be offered the opportunity to continue their learning according to their level, skills, and available opportunities at EPAM.
