Interested in machine learning and data analysis but don't know what real projects are like? Looking for a place to apply your math skills but think it's easier to start with coding? Want to learn new technologies with the help of mentors who will guide you through the abundance of topics and materials?

This intensive program is your chance to gain industry‑relevant knowledge in one of the most promising IT areas at the intersection of mathematics, programming and business.

Mentoring process

The program structure and duration of mentoring will depend on your starting level. During the technical interview, we will assess your current skills and create an individual study plan.

You will have regular one-on-one meetings, during which your mentor will share materials, answer your questions, assign tasks and help you get the most out of them.

A successful program completion provides an opportunity to join the EPAM Belarus team, based on your demonstrated skills and the availability of entry-level positions.

What is required for training:

Apply for this mentoring program if you are a 2-4 year university student and have:

  1. Solid mathematics background (analysis, linear algebra, discrete mathematics, probability theory and statistics)
  2. Strong programming skills (any language is acceptable, though Python would be an advantage)
  3. Understanding of machine learning fundamentals (it is far more important to understand logistic regression than to confidently list trendy neural network architectures)
  4. English level of Intermediate (B1) or higher
How to get started?
  1. Register on this page. Once you have filled out all the required fields and attached your CV, you will find a confirmation with more details in your mailbox and the notifications tab.
  2. Share your motivation to participate in the "Additional information" section of your profile. Please indicate your expectations and describe your experience with machine learning (e.g., literature, courses, projects, etc.).
  3. Take the English test available in the "My enrollments" section of your account. You should complete it within 5 days of registration and achieve at least a B1 level to proceed.
  4. Have an online technical interview. It will last about 1.5 hours, during which you will need to showcase your knowledge of math and programming (this step will be available only to shortlisted candidates).
  5. Receive an invitation to the program and begin your studies. We will share enrollment results and instructions for your learning journey via email.
