Do you have basic Java programming skills, understand testing processes, automation fundamentals and aspire to build your career in automated testing? This educational program is your perfect starting point to become an automation tester with EPAM Campus!
The program consists of the learning materials, offering a gradual approach to acquiring deep knowledge in this field. We will help you learn the fundamental aspects of tools used for building automation, improve and deepen your Java skills, and master modern frameworks for automated testing.
Register on this page by August 18 at 09:00, pass the selection stages and start studying in September 1. You will have access to study materials for self-learning and regular online sessions with our experts twice a week. Additionally, we'll be conducting the knowledge review sessions to prepare you for future technical interviews.
After completing the program, the best graduates will have the opportunity to continue their path in EPAM Laboratory, pass the interview for a Junior role and join EPAM team, based on their demonstrated skills and available opportunities at EPAM.
What is required for training:
- English proficiency level B1 (Intermediate) and higher;
- Basics of Java programming (Data Types, Conditions and Loops, Arrays, Classes);
- Basics of testing theory (Static and Dynamic Testing; Requirement Analysis; Software Testing Methods; Software Testing Levels. Testing Pyramid; Functional and Non-Functional Testing Types; Test Planning: Tasks and Goals; Checklists; Test Cases and Test Suites; Defect; Test Result Report);
- Version control with GIT;
- Ability to work with self-study materials and meet deadlines.
Please don't worry if you have any gaps in the pre-requisites; the topics mentioned above will be available as optional content within your learning program.
How to get started?
- Click "Register" on this page, fill in all the necessary fields and upload your CV by 09:00 on August 18.
- Take an English language test and confirm you have a B1 (Intermediate) level or higher. The test will be available in your profile after registration (before the registration closes by 09:00 on August 18).
- Complete a technical task by August 22. You will receive an email with details automatically after registration.
- Receive an invitation to join the group and participate in the first online session. If you successfully pass all selection stages, you will receive an email with details on September 1 before the first session.
What will you learn?
The program will last 2.5 months and require ~20 hours of weekly involvement. You will explore materials for self-study, complete tasks, and take tests to check your knowledge. Our experienced mentors will guide your learning through online Q&A sessions and masterclasses. At the end of program, you will have final practical task reviewed by our experts and feedback session regarding provided solution.
