This course covers the Java programming language at the beginner+ level. Choose it if you are already familiar with Java syntax and want to go deeper into the field of Java programming as well as learn how to solve non-standard tasks.

Upon completing the course, successful candidates will be able to continue their path on next-level courses according to the demonstrated skills as well as available opportunities in EPAM and will receive Program Completion Acknowledgement.

What is required for training:

  • English at Intermediate (B1+) level and higher
  • Knowledge of Java syntax
  • Basic knowledge of OOP
  • Understanding of algorithms and data structures at basic level
How to get started?
  1. Register on this page. Once you have filled in all the required fields, you will find the confirmation with more details in your mailbox or notifications tab. 
  2. Take an English test by December 2. It is available at "My enrolments" tab in your personal account on this Campus Portal. The required level is B1 (Intermediate) and higher.
  3. Pass the pre-screening test by December 2. It is available at "My enrolments" tab in your personal account on this Campus Portal.
  4. If the score of the test is above 70%, you will get an invitation to start “Introduction to Java: Elementary” course.
  5. If the score of the test is less than 70%, you will get access to self-study material of “Introduction to Java: Beginner” preparation course to improve your level of knowledge in Java and get one more chance to pass the pre-screening test, before registration end date.
  6. Receive an invitation to the program. The first introduction call planned for the course start date, December 9. An invitation will be sent to your email 1-3 days before the first introduction meeting.
