Do you have basic Java programming skills and aspire to build your career in automated testing? Then choose this educational program and take the first steps towards becoming an automation tester at EPAM University!
The program consists of several stages, offering a gradual approach to acquiring deep knowledge in this field. We will help you learn the fundamental aspects of software development and testing, improve your Java skills, and master modern frameworks for automated testing.
Register on this page by April 24 at 9:00, pass the selection stages, and start studying in May. You will have access to study materials for self-learning and regular online sessions with our experts twice a week.
After completing the program, the best graduates will be able to continue their path to further stages, based on their demonstrated skills and available opportunities at EPAM.
What is required for training:
- English proficiency level B1 (Intermediate) and higher
- Basic programming skills in Java
- Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
- Knowledge of a testing process and main tools
- Ability to work with self-study materials and meet deadlines
- Analytical thinking and creativity in solving non-standard tasks
- Basic understanding of algorithms, SQL, databases, HTML and CSS would be an additional advantage
How to get started?
- Click "Register" on this page, fill in all the necessary fields and upload your CV by 09:00 on April 24th.
- Take an English language test and confirm you have a B1 (Intermediate) level or higher. The test will be available in your profile after registration.
- Complete a technical task by April 26th. You will receive an email with details on April 24th if your English level is B1 or higher.
- Receive an invitation to join the group and participate in the first online session. If you successfully pass all selection stages, you will receive an email with details on May 9th before the first session.

What will you learn?
The program consists of two stages:
STAGE 1. It will last for 2.5 months and will require approximately 20 hours of weekly involvement. You will explore materials for self-study, complete tasks, and take tests to check your knowledge. Our experienced mentors will guide your learning through online Q&A sessions and masterclasses. During this stage, you will study the following topics:
- Testing Theory
- Software Development Methodologies
- Version Control with Git
- Test Automation Fundamentals
Java Core
- Development and Build Tools
- Java Basic
- Java Collection
STAGE 2. If you successfully complete all educational modules, the technical test and the interview with the recruiter, we will invite you to the next, more advanced stage. It will last for approximately 1 month with the same workload and will include regular Q&A sessions and practical tasks. During this stage, you will master the following topics:

- This educational program is available to citizens of Ukraine currently residing in Ukraine.
