Do you wish to learn more about Java and try your skills in this direction? This training provides a combination of valuable knowledge and practical exercises, which you wouldn’t be able to gain anywhere else in just a few months! Expand your knowledge by strengthening the foundations and learning more advanced concepts!
The program has been developed for students and people interested in IT and have basic programming knowledge. Once you enroll, you'll get immediate access to the course at the EPAM Learn platform. The program takes approximately 4 months (this can vary depending on the level of knowledge and time invested by the participant).
After completing this program, high-performing candidates might get the chance to continue their path within EPAM according to their level, skills and available opportunities.
What is required for training:
- English proficiency level from B1 (Intermediate) and higher
- Nice to have knowledge of data structures and algorithms or other programming languages
- This educational program is available only for Romanian citizens and people with EU work permits

What will you learn?
The program consists of two stages:
Stage 1: Introduction to Java.
In a self-learning format with assigned tasks, we will delve into fundamental topics. Through this approach, you will have the opportunity to master the language thoroughly and establish a strong foundation for your future studies. After completing the training, you will be eligible to take an assessment, and if you pass, you will be invited to the next stage.
Completing this program you will gain knowledge in:
- Basics of Java programming

- Input/Output
- Object-Oriented programming
- Developing console applications
- Unit testing and mocking
- Build tools and data formats
- Applying design patterns
- Relational databases
Stage 2: Deep dive into Java Technology Stack.
You will receive an invitation to this stage immediately after successfully completing the assessment in the previous stage. You will have the opportunity to deepen your understanding of the Java technology stack. Our team of experts will be there to support you every step of the way, responding to your queries in our chat and conducting regular Q&A sessions.
After completing this program, high-performing candidates might get the chance to continue their learning according to their level, skills, and available opportunities at EPAM.
