Do you wish to learn more about Java and try your skills in this direction? This training provides a combination of valuable knowledge and practical exercises, which you wouldn’t be able to gain anywhere else in just a few months! Expand your knowledge by strengthening the foundations and learning more advanced concepts!
The program has been developed for students and career changers interested in IT and have basic programming knowledge. Once you enroll, you'll get immediate access to the course at the EPAM Learn platform. The program takes approximately 4 months (this can vary depending on the level of knowledge and time invested by the participant).
What is required for training:
- Have computer literacy at the level of a confident user
- Recommended level of English knowledge B1 or higher
- Nice to know data structures and algorithms, and other programming languages.

Here are some additional, but important pieces of information:
- Active participants of ЕРАМ University and employees of EPAM Systems are not allowed to register for the training. Please contact your resource manager regarding the positions available.
- All applicants need to have citizenship in Croatia or you must prove that you relocated to this country with a work permit in the EU.

Stage 1: Introduction to Java
At this stage, you'll explore the fundamentals of Java on a self-learning course with hands-on assignments. You will master the language basics and establish a strong foundation for your future studies. Upon completing this stage, you'll be eligible to take an assessment, and, in case of successful completion, you'll have the chance to move on to the next stage. In this stage, you will learn about:
- Basics of Java programming
- Collections
- Input/Output
- Object-Oriented programming
- Developing console applications
- Unit testing and mocking
- Build tools and data formats
- Applying design patterns
- Relational databases
Stage 2: Deep Dive into Java Technology Stack
You'll have an opportunity to deepen your understanding of the Java stack with our team of experts to support you on every step, answering to your questions, and conducting regular Q&A sessions to ensure you get the most out of your education.
