In its 25 years, EPAM has obtained impressive expertise in digital transformation for international clients. Now it’s time to share our best internal practices, knowledge and cases with Ukrainian IT professionals. EPAM’s leading experts and teachers from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy combined their efforts to create a master’s degree program slated to start in autumn 2019.
What’s unique about this program?
First of all, it will be focused mainly on applied knowledge and real cases. This approach is used by well-known international universities and appreciated by students.
The program is also based on so-called blended education, which combines online, offline and self-study formats. A similar practice has been successfully implemented in corporate education all over the world. It makes the educational process easy and convenient for students, and its effectiveness has been repeatedly proven.
Why are we doing this?
“The world is changing, and so is education. New approaches are in high demand, and we would like to give an opportunity to gain practical experience in addition to a master’s degree,” commented Yury Antoniuk, EPAM CEE.
The company’s leading experts are involved in the education process. Among them: Arkadiy Dobkin (CEO EPAM & President), Yury Antoniuk (Vice-President, EPAM CEE), Ely Feldman (VP, Technology Solution), Roman Shramkov (Director, Technology Solution), Eugene Roman (ID-AH Conduit at Design.ai Ltd) and others.
The Program consists of modules:
- Engineering Excellence
- Solution Architecture
- Delivery Management
- Product Management
- Cloud & DevOps
- Big Data
Who is our target audience?
The first group will consist of twenty students who meet the following criteria:
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering
- possession of basic business tools
- practical experience in integration, design, configuration and infrastructure development
- deep understanding of the software development life cycle and methodology and roles in IT
- soft skills, including communication skills, client management, presentation skills and conflict management
Candidate selection includes several stages, including an English language test, technical test and personal interview.
